We will concentrate our education aspect on Mozambique because we have studied Kenya before. Our project in Sept. will be cash offering. The location in Mozambique provides a home and education for young girls, adolescents, and young women who live in extreme poverty, are orphaned and have no resources to provide for themselves. As we prepare our contributions, we should pray for these women. Let's start our new year sharing our abundance with our less fortunate sisters.
Blood Drive Tuesday, August 26 from Noon until 8 pm and Wednesday, August 27 from 8:00 am to Noon.
Summer will soon be coming to an end and school and fall activities will begin to fill our daily schedules. Most of us have enjoyed the beautiful 100 days of summer, but there are those who have serious health problems that require blood and blood products to maintain a stable quality of life. These individuals have spent the 100 days of summer in hope that all eligible donors will take time out of their busy schedules to share their good health by attending the upcoming drive and donating this precious commodity.
Appointments may be scheduled online at www.redcrossblood.org or you may call 1-800-REDCROSS. At various times during the drive, a large turnout of donors may increase the wait time. If your schedule is flexible, usually the wait time is less on the second day of the drive (8:00 am to noon). Let’s join together to give those in need of HOPE for tomorrow.
