Reconciliation Special Offering Sept. 17 & 24

20170924tThe Special Offering is used to fund our Church’s mission imperative to become an pro-reconciling and anti-racist church utilizing experiential education, inclusive worship and intentional dialogue. Our efforts to promote healing, relationship and restoration in the whole family of God are enlivened by funds from this offering. Through it we are able to provide programs for leadership development, curriculum for dialogue and learning, and partnerships within the Church and our communities.
Recent events have reignited the conversation about human brokenness evidenced in the sin of racism and perpetuated in our institutional structures and systems. Your generous giving to Reconciliation Ministry is transforming lives and strengthening Christ’s witness in the world showing that we love one another, even as Christ continues to love us! Youth Ministries Have Begun!

20170910tCCF is during the Sunday School hour. Come prepared to laugh, pray, play and to get to know each other. Christian Children’s Fellowship is the younger version of Chi-Rho and CYF. It is for kids K – 5th grades and who knows what kind of fun things can happen at church!

CYF is every Wednesday at 6pm. We will have a snack supper and then meet. We already know that this summer we are going to want to take a work trip down to help with all the damage from Harvey. We are going to take a stab at upgrading the church’s non-Facebook social media, and we are going to give bells a try. Youth group is always more fun when you bring your friends. See you on Wednesday. Read the bulletin here.
