20170219tCulver-Stockton College Concert

March 5 at 7:00 p.m.
Culver-Stockton College, a Christian Church College, in Canton, Missouri, will present a concert featuring their choir and band here at the church on March 5th at 7:00 p.m. Scott Allison, formerly a teacher at Labette County High School, is their choir director. This concert is free to the public. A free-will offering will be taken. Come support these young Christians and enjoy a wonderful program. Read the bulletin here.

To hear the words,“Your child has cancer”, is heart breaking! Where do you turn?

Doctors and staff at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN dedicate all their efforts to diagnosing and treating to save these precious children. They have state of the art equipment as well as commitment and loving personal care. No family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food – nothing, leaving parents able to focus all their attention on their child. Research and improved treatments are shared world-wide. St. Jude’s survival rate stands at 80% today. Sadly, 1 in 5 children lose their hard fought battle and return to God. We give because we love – because we care. Join us in helping St. Jude in their dedication to saving all the children.

20170129tWhile out and about this winter, stop by our members who are homebound and take a few minutes out of the day to see someone who may not have seen anyone for a while. A friendly visit, a phone call or even a snack or meal can brighten someone’s otherwise dreary day.
