Ministers: The Congregation

Pastor: Paul Elliott, Interim Minister

Associate Pastor for Children, Youth, and Families: Vacant

Pastor Paul Elliott, Interim Minister

I am a born and raised Iowa boy who has a great love for the outdoors and sports. I attended Iowa State University for my undergraduate work, later Phillips Theological Seminary where I got my Masters of Divinity. I was ordained in 2010 at the church in Erie, Kansas. I first served as a commissioned minister, during that time served four regions for the church. I have served as Interim Minister for the South Carolina Region, Pastor to churches in Iowa, Arkansas, and Kansas. This covers twenty years.

I have been blessed in having Mary, also Iowa born, as my wife and life’s partner for twenty five years. Mary also graduated from Iowa State University. We have two kitties PePe and Omega who are nine and one half years old. I have a daughter, Megan Stiles who is married to Randy Stiles. They have two girls, Anah, and Kathryn and they live in Boone, Iowa. Mary and I have one living parent, Mary’s mother, Eleanor Hand, of Independence, Iowa as well as five sisters and their husbands, children and grandchildren in Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota, and Colorado.

I look forward, as your Transitional Minister, to not only serve the church, but to look forward in helping the church to vision its future and its place in Parsons, Kansas, and also to help the church to move on to your new minister. May God bless our work as we do God’s work together.
